Terms of use

What this is

TechGuild is a website of independent study material: lessons, flashcards, quizzes, timed practice exams and a glossary, covering AI engineering, security and governance, and the certifications that examine the same ground. Using the site means accepting these terms.

It is free of charge. There is no paid plan, no subscription and nothing to buy, and nothing on this site asks you for payment details. If a page ever does, it is not us. Free of charge is not the same as free of an account, and the difference is set out under Accounts below.

TechGuild is an independent project rather than a company with a support desk. That is worth knowing before you rely on it for something with a deadline attached.

What you may do with it

Read it, study from it, print it for your own use, and quote small parts of it with a link back. That is the intended use and no permission is needed for it.

Please do not:

• republish, resell or redistribute the lessons, diagrams, questions or flashcards, whether as your own material, as part of another course, or as training data for a model you publish or sell;
• scrape or bulk-download the site, or run automated traffic against it beyond ordinary reading;
• try to reach content or accounts that are not yours, or work around the checks that decide what is visible to whom;
• create accounts automatically, or use an address that is not yours;
• use the site to break the law or somebody else's rights.

Accounts that do these things can be suspended or closed. There is no formal appeal process, which is a limitation of a small project rather than a policy position, so if you think a decision is wrong then say so.

Accounts

The orientation module of each course reads with no account. Everything past it needs one: the remaining lessons, the module quizzes, the end-of-lesson checks and the timed practice exams. An account is free, and it is the only thing standing between you and the rest of the material, because there is no paid tier above it and nothing to buy.

An account also records your progress across devices: which lessons you have completed, your flashcard schedules, your quiz and exam attempts, and your streak. Signed out, that record stays in your own browser instead.

Signing up needs a working email address, which has to be verified before the account can be used. Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think somebody else has it. You can close your account, and what happens to your data when you do is set out in the privacy notice.

The practice questions are ours, and they are not the exam

Every practice question, exam item, explanation and flashcard on this site was written for this site from publicly published exam objectives. None of them is a real exam question, none is reconstructed from anybody's memory of sitting an exam, and no exam has been recorded, transcribed or reverse-engineered to build them.

A practice score here measures your grip on this question bank. It is not the exam's item pool, and it does not predict the result you will get.

No affiliation, and no endorsement

TechGuild is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or otherwise connected to Anthropic, Amazon Web Services or any certification body, and none of them has reviewed, approved or certified this material. Certification and product names are used only to say which exam or which product a lesson is about. They, and all associated trademarks, belong to their owners.

What this does not promise

The material is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied. In particular:

• It does not promise you a pass. No study material can, and anything claiming otherwise is selling you something.
• It does not promise to be current. Exam blueprints get revised and products ship faster than any guide is rewritten. Each course carries a ledger lesson naming the parts most likely to have moved, and the official exam guide and the vendor's documentation are the authorities, not this site. See About.
• It does not promise to be complete or free of error. The material has been fact-checked against primary sources by the people who wrote it. That is a real check with a real limit, described honestly on the About page.
• It is not professional advice. Nothing here is legal, security, compliance or financial advice, and the governance and risk material in particular is teaching material rather than an assessment of your own systems.

Availability, and changes to the site

There is no uptime commitment. The site can be unavailable, slow, or changed without notice, and lessons, features and whole courses can be added, rewritten or withdrawn. Practice questions are revised when a source changes, so a question you saw last month may read differently now.

Our material, and your copies

The lessons, diagrams, questions, explanations and flashcards on this site are original work and remain ours. You may keep copies for your own study, including printed ones from the printable views. Everything in the list above still applies to those copies.

Your own data is yours: your progress, your schedules and your attempt history. See the privacy notice.

Ending it

You can stop using the site at any time, and you can close your account. We may suspend or close an account that is being used in one of the ways listed above, or withdraw the service entirely.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, TechGuild is not liable for loss arising from your use of this site, including an exam result, a fee, or a decision you took because of something you read here. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes to these terms

These terms can change. The date at the top of this page is when they were last rewritten, and continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the current version.
